* Developed Aimee’s Law (signed into law 2000), which allowed for the transfer of some federal crime funds from a state that released a murderer or sex offender, to a second state that subsequently convicted that offender of a later murder or sex crime
* Helped craft Proposition 103, a successful Arizona ballot measure (2002), which allows judges to deny bail in certain serious sex offenses and passed with 80% of the vote
* Testified before a Congressional Subcommittee about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis (2005)
* Participated in FDA Advisory Committee Hearings and presented at Medicare Model Guidelines public meeting (2004-07)
